Our Story

We proudly serve Classic Chicago Street Food, made with quality ingredients and served in generous portions.  We are Greek family owned and operated, with Chicago restaurant roots dating back to the 1970s.

 

We have two generations and over 45 years of history, from when the original 'Submarine Brothers' immigrated to Chicago in 1968.  We are still family owned and operated in Chicago and Maywood, IL.  "We love to feed people.  Come and try the food we grew up on.  It's not all healthy, but it's all good."

 

Petey's serves Vienna beef, Turano bread, fresh cut fries, and quality vegetables.  You can be healthy or splurge.  Try all the classics like a Gyro, Chicago or Maxwell style Hot Dog and Polish, Submarine Sandwich, Tacos, Pizza Puff, Chicken Tenders, Wings, Philly Sandwiches, Grilled Chicken Salads and more.  Top it all off with one of our delicious milkshakes or slushies - with more than 18 flavors to mix & match...or if it's the third time this week, maybe a bottle of water.  Either way, you'll be glad you came.  We always are.
